The Files section in ABC Digital Downloads is where you can upload, organize, and manage all your digital products. From here, you can upload new files, rename or delete existing ones, view file details, and connect files to your Shopify products.
Searching for Files
- Filter by Connected Products: Use filters to quickly find files linked to specific products.
- Text Search: Use the search bar to locate files by name, making it easy to manage large libraries of digital content.
Viewing File Details
- Click on any file in the Files section to open its details page.
- On this page, you can see:
- Download Count: How many times the file has been downloaded by customers.
- Estimated Bandwidth: The total data transferred from customer downloads.
- Here, you can also manage product connections:
- Connect a Product: Attach the file to one or more products.
- Remove a Product: Detach the file from a product if it’s no longer needed.
Managing Files
From the file details page, you can also:
- Download the File: Save a copy of the uploaded file to your computer.
- Rename the File: Update its display name for easier management.
- Delete the File: Permanently remove a file from ABC Digital Downloads. (Note: Deleting a file disconnects it from all linked products.)
